# Stock adjustment

The **Stock adjustment** menu is used to register stock adjustments in InStore App. The item transaction undergoes further processing in Chain Classic.

#### Start Stock adjustment registration

1. Tap the **Stock adjustment** menu. The start screen for Stock adjustment will open.
2. Tap **Start**. The registration screen for Stock adjustment will open.

1. You can configure the app to require reason code and/or action code registration. This will open a screen where you can select a reason code and action code. Tap **Add items** after selecting them to open the registration screen.
