Updated endpoint for ClearOn coupon registration (RTP-37305)

EG POS communicates with a new URL when registering ClearOn coupons at checkout. The API call also includes an updated header to match ClearOn's new requirements. All stores using ClearOn coupons must upgrade EG POS to continue registering these coupons correctly.

Swedbank Pay SDK version 1.3.25120 support in EG POS (RTP-40420)

EG POS supports SDK version 1.3.25120 for Swedbank Pay. This version improves synchronization between POS, SDK, and the payment terminal, which reduces the risk of them getting out of sync during transactions.

Receipt numbers for deleted Click & Collect orders (RTP-34836)

Deleted Click & Collect orders are saved with a receipt using the correct receipt number. This keeps the receipt sequence accurate and complete.

Improving performance of get last 500 receipts (RTP-40457)

Retrieving the last 500 receipts on the EG POS register returns a complete and continuous list with accurate timestamps, consistent with the way data is shown in Chain Web's Receipt Journal.

Exchange rate handling for returns (RTP-40610)

When a purchase is made in foreign currency, the return uses the same exchange rate as on the original receipt. This keeps the refund amount consistent and avoids financial mismatches.

To prevent incorrect use of the buy rate, configure the POS so that returns and sales do not happen on the same receipt. Use the parameter “ReturnItemsInSeparateReceipt”=True or “EUWhiteWashPreventionEnabled”=True

Random control and approving quota in the same transaction (RTP-40235)

The order of operations has been changed to first confirm the quota. This ensures that if a random control is triggered later, there is no risk of approving a quota that has been exceeded.

Search Item (RTP-39090)

When searching an item by its name, the items that match the search string appears on the screen. This will improve the user experience and will speed up the checkout process. Need for entering the EAN number or scanning the barcode to fetch the item details every time is eliminated.

Improved handling of member cards and GltAera codes (RTP-42016)

POS has been updated to better handle member identification. GltAera codes are now controlled by the parameter GltAeraPaymentServiceUrl:

• If the parameter is empty, GltAera codes are not parsed and will be treated as invalid.

• If the parameter has a value, GltAera codes work as before and correctly add the member.

This prevents invalid or unwanted member numbers from being added to receipts in both manned and self-service modes.

Improved memory handling (RTP-39820)

Opening and closing the PLU list using the OPEN_NEW_PLU_LIST function no longer causes a steady increase in memory usage. This improves overall memory handling and reduces the risk of System.OutOfMemory exceptions during extended use

Using POS without ShiftID (RTP-40097)

A warning message is shown when cashier tries to use POS with no ShiftID being created.

• 'Retry getting shift' button allows to recheck if a ShiftID was created and fetch this data

• 'Continue without shift' button allows cashier to sell items, but cashier is informed that this could lead to a differences in the shift balances.

Auto logout timer resets after payment completion (RTP-28929)

When auto logout is set up for idle time in EG POS, the logout timer resets only after the payment is fully completed. This avoids logging out the cashier too early in cases where the customer takes time to finish the payment, such as using a phone app, and keeps the payment summary visible on screen for the cashier.

Error removed when committing eSale items (RTP-38676)

The error that appears when committing an eSale item no longer occurs. This ensures smoother order processing and prevents interruptions when handling eSale items in the POS.

Bug SubtotalDiscount missing when BeginCartEditing is called has been fixed (RTP-39402)

SubtotalDiscount was missing when BeginCartEditing was being called for calculation of the cart, leading to wrong calculation. That issue has been fixed for the customer and now the endpoints are being called correctly.
