Light tower

The self-service cash register can have a light tower attached. Light tower is used in the self-service cash register to provide visual signals to both customers and cashiers. The light tower makes it easier for the cashier to identify which cash register that needs attention, improving overall efficiency and customer service.

Status indication:

  • Green light - Indicates that the cash register is available for use.

  • Yellow light - A minor problem is detected, e.g. if the customer click on Call for assistance at the upper right corner of the screen. The cashier gets a warning and can help the customer if needed.

  • Red light - Indicates that a problem is detected and the customer needs help (e.g. age control)
