Create new promotion

You can create a promotion by using New promotion button in Promotion register, or you can create a promotion from the Item lists and Item group lists in Item Management.

Click on the New promotion button at the bottom of the screen. A new view Promotions > New opens.

In this view you add Promotion details, Properties, Valid period and Offers.

Promotion details

Promotion code: You can add an external campaign id.
Promotion name: Add promotion name (required). You can change the default value.
Available in: Select where promotion should be available. You can choose between:

• All stores

• Selected stores

• Selected teams

• Selected profiles

Note:

Promotion can only be available in one store/profile/team or in all stores.

Properties

Promotion type: Select promotion type. It is configurable if the field is visible or not.

Valid period

Valid from: Select valid from date and time. If you select today, it will be set to current time during saving.
Valid to: Select valid to date and time.
Select available hours: You can select that the promotion should only be available in some hours each day. Tick "Select available hours", fields to enter from and to time opens. Select the hours that the promotion should be available.

Select available days: You can select that promotion only should be available in some days. Tick "Select available days", fields to select days opens. Select days by clicking on the days the promotion should be available.

Excluded dates: You can select some dates where the promotion should be excluded. Tick "Excluded dates", fields to select dates open. Select date by clicking on the calendar icon or write the date in the date field.

Offers

Price rule for Offer 1: By default, "Promotion price" is added as price rule for offer 1.

It is possible to remove the "Promotion price" price rule if another offer is added. Just click on the x behind the "Promotion price" price rule.

Add offer: New offer can be added to a new or existing promotion by clicking on Add offer. The "Select Price rule" grid (table) opens.

The grid can be expanded and show mix number and price rule description. Select wanted price rule by clicking on the price rule. The selected price rule is added in the offer section in the view, displaying the name of the price rule.

When you have entered wanted information, click on the Create button to create the Promotion. The promotion detail's view opens, with status "Draft". The promotion name is displayed on the top of the screen. Promotion details have two tabs, Setup and Report.
