Default POS Units are virtual POS units used by the POS API. These are common for all stores. In this menu you get an overview of the default POS units.
The POS unit number for default POS units must be between 90 and 999 to avoid mixing them in the number series for physical pos units.
If a new store is created in Store Management, a default POS Unit will automatically be created when importing the new store to POS Management.
Add Default POS Units
At the top of the page it is a Add row section, it is used to add new default POS units. Add Default POS no., Host name and Description (optional), and click Add to add it to the list of default POS units.
Edit Default POS Units
POS Units can be edited by clicking on the “Pencil icon” on the relevant POS Unit. The “Edit POS Unit” dialog opens. Edit wanted information and click Update to update the change.
Deactivate Default POS Units
POS units that are no longer in use can be deactivated by clicking on the More button to the left, and select “Deactivate”.
