Reason codes

In the Reason codes menu reason codes are maintained. It has optional support for multiple languages. When you open the Reason codes menu you get an overview of the reason codes and a description of the reason codes.

Reason codes for item transactions are maintained in the Inventory module.

It is possible to edit existing reason codes and add new reason codes for all reason code type. Maintenance of the reason codes are similar for all reason codes.

When migrating from Reason codes in Chain Web, existing reason codes defined in Chain Web should be deactivated. Codes with matching numbers should be created in POS Management.  

Line discount

Line discount reason codes is reasons for giving manual discount to customers.

New code

New reason code can be created by clicking on the New code button. The “New reason” page opens.

Code is automatically added. Add “Name” and “Description” (optional).
If multi country solution is configured you can add name and description for each configured language.

Edit reason code

You can edit Reason codes by clicking on the ”Pencil icon” on the relevant reason code. The “Edit reason code” view opens. In this view you can edit Name and Description.
