Fuel integration

Introduction

These articles provides an overview of the fuel functionalities in EG POS. It describes the different forecourt controllers (FCC) we integrate with and the functionalities we provide.

We have currently two different ways of integration. Fuel Mode and Fuel Widget. See separate articles for details on each.

With Fuel Mode we integrate functionality directly into our EG POS user interface and we continually develop and maintain the code base our self.

Fuel Widget shows an external fuel application inside EG POS. This application is not developed or maintained by EG.

Forecourt Controllers (FCC) Integration

EG POS integrates with several forecourt controllers to manage fuel pumps and related functionalities. The supported FCCs include:

1. Fusion Fuel Integration: This integration allows handling pumps directly in the POS user interface (Fuel Mode). When set up, the fuel pump status can be seen in the Fuel header at the top of the screen, both in normal Sales mode and in Convenience mode.

2. Gilbarco Veeder Root via Epsilon Express Widget: This built-in widget is used to handle pumps. It provides a user-friendly interface for managing fuel transactions and selling vouchers for fuel and car wash.

3. Tokheim Fuel POS: Currently in the process of development, this integration will provide comprehensive control over fuel pumps and transactions. Will be a part of the Fuel Mode.
