Function used to register reason codes in associated with social control performed during the sale.
The way reason codes is handled by the cash register is controlled by parameters. When social control is in use, either a message with the selected reason code is displayed on the screen, or the reason code causes the receipt to be canceled.
How the receipt is processed when the sale is canceled depends on the cashier's rights.
Reason codes resulting in an on-screen message
This applies to the reason codes "Checked credentials" and "Asked about age".
Select Social control.
Select reason code.
The reason code will be displayed in top of the registration view. Sale can finish as normal.
The other reason codes requires that the sale is cancelled.
Social control when casher has rights to delete receipt
Select Social control.
Select reason code.
A dialog box for deleting receipt opens. Press Confirm to delete receipt. Information about the deleted receipt is displayed in the registering view.
Social control when cashier does not have enough rights to delete receipt
Select Social control.
Select reason code.
A dialog box with message that your user does not have permission to cancel the receipt. Select Receipt on hold.
The receipt is put on hold. The receipt can be retrieved from hold later by a cashier with permission to cancel receipt.
If you select Confirm a user with permission must enter username and PIN(password) to cancel the receipt.
