Article summary

Item movements, both in and out of the store, that are not covered by ordinary sales must be recorded as an item transaction.

  1. Select Stock.

  2. Select the required item transaction type.

  3. Register the item as normal.

  4. Press OK to complete registration.

  5. A dialogue box will be displayed, asking you to confirm that you want to complete the stock transaction. Press OK to complete the transaction.


Internal transfer

Internal transfer is an item transaction type that is used for the internal transfer of items from one store to another.

  1. Select Internal transfer. The “Internal transfer” view opens.

  1. You must begin by specifying a store. Enter the recipient’s store number or store name in the Input field or tap the “No store is selected” line at the top of the screen. This opens the Search stores view. Select the store you require.

  1. Once you have selected the store, the store name/number will be displayed at the top of the registration view.

  1. Register the items as normal.

  2. Press OK to complete registration.

  3. A dialogue box will be displayed, asking you to confirm that you want to complete the stock transaction. Press OK to complete the transaction.


Inventory

Function for registering inventory in the cash register.

Register inventory:

  1. Select Inventory. 

  2. A view opens for registering inventory. The words “Sale inventory” are displayed at the top of the view. This shows that the cash register is in sale inventory mode.

  1. Register the items as normal.

  2. Press OK to complete registration.

  3. A dialogue box will be displayed, asking you to confirm that you want to complete the stock transaction. Press OK to complete the stock transaction.

Complete inventory:

You must log out of the cash register to complete the inventory.

NOTE: We do not recommend having more than approximately 200 item lines on a receipt.
